The Atari 800 48k RAM Card easily installs in your Atari 800. All that is required is for you to removed your current memory card(s), install the "Jumper Board" in memory module slot 1, and install this 48k RAM card in slot 2. The 3rd slot is available for other the top cover on your Atari 800 by opening the cartridge cover. Then either remove the 2 screws at the rear of the cartridge cover or turn the 2 latches so that your cover can be removed. Remove the cover. The front slot will have the Operating System. The 3 slots after the Operating System will have the memory modules. Remove the memory modules. In the slot closest to the Operating System, install the Jumper Board. The Jumper Board is labeled as to the direction that faces the keyboard. Ensure this board is inserted in the correct direction or else your Atari may be damaged. In the next slot, install this 48k RAM Card. This board is also labeled as to the direction that faces the keyboard. Ensure this board is inserted in the correct direction or else your 48k RAM Card will suffer damage. Re-install the top cover and enjoy.
