This discontinued Buck Strider is one of the last ones made by Buck Knives and has a rare tang stamp \"BUCK 889 > USA\" indicating 2009 manufacture of the blades. I would guess about 100 were made like this, although I am not completely sure (Joe Houser did not know the amount produced either). These were put together in 2011, and we acquired this knife directly from Buck Knives. Buck was a little rough on these blades for some reason, so you may find what appear to be scuffs in the black oxide finish, which is demonstrated in the pictures. (Please note - this knife is not a factory blemished knife.) This knife is new and unused in the box.
