Here is a fabulous, all original including stand, 17” Schoenhut 311 character girl in marvelous condition. She is in, I think, wonderful condition with a nice smooth face, deeply carved blue intaglio eyes with defined upper and lower lids, original mohair wig and an excellent body. She also comes with her original dress, original union suit, original socks with holes and her original kid leather Schoenhut shoes with holes on the bottom along with her original Schoenhut stand and original silk bow in her hair. I believe she is a Schoenhut 311 and is 17\" tall and impressed on her back Schoenhut Doll Foreign Countries. Her face is great and her coloring is wonderful. As you can see there are a few paint chips on her face but they could be fixed if you can match the paint. Her lips are very light and I think someone tried to touch them up but the color is wrong and it really needs to be done better. It does not appear to have any other touch ups and remarkably the tip of her nose is not chipped. It think some of her face was washed making the color lighter and that is something I never do with a Schoenhut. She has fabulous big blue deeply carved intaglio eyes with white dot and well defined upper lids and lower lids with dark lining around the rims. She has an outstanding character look with dimples, a full upper lip and a wider more up-turned nose. Her brows are pretty faded out and again I think her have been touched up. This may sound worse then it really is but for this harder to find character she is well worth adding to your collection and even having her restored since she is all original. She has her original mohair wig that is in excellent condition and still thick and full and nailed on with the exception of one nail. With that nail pulled though the wig it tends to move a bit and become off balance. I would take that nail out and put it back in but I’ll leave that to you just in case you want to do something different. Her wood jointed body is in excellent condition and still retains the original finish. There is some normal wear and a little flaking on her arms but there are no are no touch ups or repairs and her hands and fingers are super. She is nice and tight with original spring joints so she can pose any way you want. She is wearing her fabulous original antique dress excellent condition. It has long sleeves with tight cuffs and delicate lace around the edges. Her dress has a round neck with a wide peter pan collar with the same delicate lace around the edges as on the cuffs of her sleeves. The dress is more of an A-line shape becoming fuller around the bottom and it buttons up the back. Her dress is wonderfully nice and clean with no rips, holes, repairs or stains and has that new feel to the material like the day it was made. Her original union suit is marvelous with lace trim around the V neck, arms and around the legs with 2 buttons up the back and the silk bow in front. There is a little stitching repair in front above the right leg that you can see and a tiny hole up by the bow in front but the rest is excellent. Best of all she has her original Schoenhut socks with slits in the bottom and her original leather Schoenhut shoes with holes in the bottom for the metal stand, witch she also has. Her socks are extremely fragile with ripping but they are original so for what it’s worth they are wonderful. Her original kid leather shoes are wonderful with buckles on the toes and the bottoms are excellent with original grommets but the kid is also a bit fragile so I only take them off when necessary. As you can see she has her original metal Schoenhut stand and that’s a real treat as they are extremely hard to come by now a days. Someone is making reproduction stands but this one is guaranteed to be the real 1920’s Schoenhut metal stand. She has I’m sure her original silk bow in her hair and she comes with a reproduction Schoenhut pin that is wonderful. This character girl is a marvelous example of an all original, including stand, Schoenhut 311 and would make a fabulous addition to any Schoenhut Collection. This outstanding 17\" Schoenhut 311 character girl with original everything should sell for over $2300.00 but my reserve is less so don\'t let her get away.
