A note to my customers:

I am surprised to see how many people offer aluminum beltsander wheels for sale nowadays. They come at competitive prices in variety ofshapes and even colors. However I wonder how many of them actually see theirproducts working: while mounted on the actual belt sander. Many might be disappointed. They make wheels but hardly know the mechanics. I have been offering complete belt sanders,parts, attachments and accessories as they come including neoprene contactwheels, platen attachments, hubs and even variable speed motor controllers. Iconsider this to be my area of expertise, not a mass production therefore all Isell has been tested and is proven to work properly.

Belt knife sander/grinderhigh quality precision machined aluminum Wheel Set.

Set Includes:

·One Drive Wheel 4”OD x 2-1/4” wide convex (domed forimproved tracking): precision machined aluminum. It has a 5/8”bore with 3/16” key way and a set screw.

·One Idle/Trucking Wheel 3” OD x 2-1/4” wide convex. 1/2” ID sealedbearing pressed into pockets. Machined aluminum.

·Two Belt Contact Wheels. 2” OD x 2-1/4”wide flatturned with 1/2” ID pressed sealed bearings. Aluminum machined.

The above wheel sizes are perfectfor any 2” wide Belt Sander with rotating speed up to 3600 RPM. They are actuallyrated to run at much higher speeds however this is not recommended in knifemaking industry because it could lead to overheating blades.

Many sellers offer similar wheels 2” wide i.g. the same sizeas the sanding belt. Occasionally I also sell complete sanders for 2x72 belts.

I found that making the wheels wider is better and helps improvetracking. Based on this experience the wheels I sell are minimum 2-1/4” wide.
