BROWN’S CATALINA


Here we have a very scarce figural bitters bottle from the early 1860\'s. It is in the shape of an old cannon. The bottle is exactly 11\" tall and has a nice brownish orange amber color. The base is smooth and the top is an applied square collar. The glass is nice and crude and has some decent whittle to it. It is in excellent condition With no chips, dings, cracks, flakes, bruises etc. For complete accuracy I will mention that the top appears to have been lightly buffed or polished to remove some roughness. It is barely noticeable and to the untrained eye looks perfect. There is also a spot on the base that someone, possibly the original owner had engraved some initials into the glass. Its says H P 54. I do not consider this damage or an issue at all.
