TAXCO EAGLE 22 “JB” CARVED AMETHYST STERLING SILVER MEXICAN NECKLACE 16\"

Circa mid-century, here is a hand-wrought necklace from Taxco artisan \"JB\".

This piece shows up beautifully on the neck, and it also lays perfectly and comfortably. There are sixteen amethysts which are hand-cut and polished, each one with it\'s own individual character. All well matched in color. The design reminds me of daffodils, and each sterling links is hand-carved, with oxidized recesses.

Measures 16\" closed, wearable length.

Signed and hallmarked \"Sterling Taxco JB 925\", along with the eagle assay 22.

Weighs 43 grams.

In excellent vintage condition. Closure is a tight and secure tongue in box.
