You are looking at a pair of Vintage James B. Lansing JBL L65 Jubal Speakers. These cabinets have a walnut finish which is in good cosmetic shape. They have had one local owner and are on consignment at our store. Cosmetically, these speakers are nice, but they do have marks and scratches from use and age, There is also a slight bit of minor veneer damage in several spots as shown. Sonically, the woofers were pro refoamed years ago and in great shape. The other drivers all work well but the controls are scratchy as one would expect.Scroll down to see all the pictures of these speakers below. Some photos are with the flash and the pictures make the speakers look worse than they are. These speakers are superb sonically and sound super sweet and smooth. You need to hear them to believe the sound.The LE5 mids and 077 crystal tweeters sound incredible.
These would be a great speaker pair for the audiophile, or the perfect speakers for your listening room or home theater. There are few that we contemplate keeping and this pair was considered due to the overall condition and the superb sound.
