These are a matched pair - close serial numbers - of Western Electric\'s unsurpassed 594-A compression drivers. They have been carefully stored under temperature & humidity controlled conditions!The serial numbers are 1986 and 2120. Note the low numbers you find on 594 drivers because of their very low production - way lower than 555 series drivers for instance. The resistance measurements in the photos are in order of serial number: 1986 then 2120.These are the perfect complement to the Western Electric 24-A horns I am also making available (see my other sale for these). Together, they allow midrange extension to below 300HZ and amazingly flat response to well into the top octave region of audibility. What I can\'t describe is their addictive, seductive musical capability they\'re famous for - especially when used with the Western Electric TA-4181 low frequency units and high quality Tube amplification.
