1998 John Deere 6X4 Gator:

This is my personal John Deere 6X4 Gator. It comes with a water cooled 18 horsepower Kawasaki gas engine. It has an electric/hydraulic lift for the bed and an electric/hydraulic lift for the 72\" snow plow (detachable, goes on and off pretty easy) and optional \"heavy duty\" suspension. Everything works good. Sometimes when the engine is warm I need to wiggle the gear-shift to get the starter to engage. Not sure why? but it hasn\'t been a big deal. Otherwise everything works good. We use it on our horse farm, and we use the headlights quite often, so we had an optional John Deere high-capacity alternator installed (rather that just the points that come standard) to keep battery fresh. Always serviced by my son and myself. Plastic is broken in several places (my son) bed is bent from heavy loads (me), but works great, seats are worn but serviceable.(see pictures)Pick up in either Cedar Lake Indiana (where I live) or in Lynwood Illinois (where I work)Thanks for looking
