19thC Four very Fine pairs of presentation Steel Scissors made by Thomas Rudd of Sheffield with the monogram of (HR) for Hannah De Rothschild( c1851-90)she was mother to Harry Primrose the 6th Earl of Roseberry (Lord Delmeny),The scissors originaly made for Hannah Rothschild remained in the family passing to her son Harry thus becoming the property of his secondwifeLady Eva Primrose. Eva died in 1987 and the scissors were gifted to Winifred Day for 25 years service Winifred wasseamstress & Lady in waiting . I aquired the scissors from the family of Winifred .
