Up for sale is a stunning cast iron Cloverleaf Sure Lock hay trolley manufactured by the FE Myers Co. It has a patent date of 1903 and is in excellent condition. It is in working condition with no issues. It is complete with the correct fork pulley. It has been completely disassembled, sandblasted, primed and painted in a metallic iron satin finish with highlighted silver lettering. The color is supposed to be the color of new cast iron. It gives the trolley a conservative, clean look, not to loud. The silver lettering provide subtle highlights to the raised cast lettering. The finished product is gorgeous. It even has the brass name plate proudly bearing the FE Myers name which is missing on about 75% of Myers trolleys. It is clean enough to display in your home or place of business. It is 19 1/2\" long x 16\" tall ( with the fork pulley )x 6 1/2\" wide.Both sheaves and all 4 trolley wheelsturn freely and work asthey should. The top and bottom rotate smoothly. The locking mechanism for the fork pulley works perfectly. Hay trolleysare a great representation of early life on the farm and are very collectable.Hay trolleys also make unique rustic light fixture.
