Tanner 64K Static Memory Board for S-100; Altair, IMSAI, etc.You are offerding on a Tanner 64K static RAM board for the S-100 bus.The same board was sold by Digital Research Computers.This board will fill the entire memory space in a vintage S-100 computer system.One big advantage of this board is that the 6116 chips have the same pinout as a 2716 EPROM, so monitor software inEprom can be installed in place of one of the RAM chips. There are jumpers to indicate whether a particular socketcontains a RAM or EPROM chip.I have not used this board for many years, and I cannot verify that it is still operational.It is being sold as a collectible, AS-IS.This board has 32 6116 CMOS STATIC RAM chips to provide a total of 64K bytes or 32K words of storage.The board is addressable on any 64K byte boundary in the 16 megabyte address space as specified by the IEEE 696 standard.It can be dynamically switched between \"byte-wide\" or \"word-wide\" modes per the state of the sXTRQ* signal on the S-100 Bus.The board was designed to work with 8086/88 type processors.No wait states were needed for 4 MHZ Z-80 operation.The manual for this board can be found here.
