Offered here is a very RARE Commodore CBM 128-80 computer. Boasting a 6509 processor and 128K memory; this was part of Commodores planned line of Next Generation B series computers that really never got off the ground in North America It is also one of the RAREST production computers they made. This one does power on and displays the Basic prompt; however if you type something and hit enter, it locks up. I tried removing the Basic Rom 901243-02 and the computer boots into the machine language monitor and does NOT lock up. Seems to work fine within the machine language monitor. Therefore I believe this basic Rom is faulty. Should be an easy fix for a Commodore Techy with an Eprom burner who can burn a new ROM. Keyboard works great! but has had 3 keys replaced as is evident by a more yellow tone. Computer does exhibit some scratches as would be expected from a nearly 40 year old machine. Very tough piece to find. This is a 110v system. Here is a chance to get a RARE Commodore seldom offered on . Sold \"as is\" PARTS OR REPAIR due to age of electronics and no returns.
