The Tandy 200 is still a workhorse of a machine, but its 24k built-in memory is a handicap. More memory is nearly impossible to find for these machines, and if you can find it, it\'s expensive. I\'m a hobby computer designer in my free time, so I took it upon myself to reverse-engineer the original memory upgrade and design one using modern components. The result was an astounding success.Your model 200 can hold up to two of these units, but it will still work with only one. It\'s like having a whole new machine being able to copy files back and forth between memory banks and shuffle things around to give you what you want, where you need it.These modules were designed, etched, soldered and tested by me. The modern components use a fraction of the the power that the originals used, which is great for a machine powered by AA batteries. They\'re reliable and each has been burned in for 24 hours of rigorous testing in one of my own Model 200s before I box it up for sale.They use gold-plated contacts and industrial-rated components.This listing is for (1) module. You will receive the module in anti-static foam, in a static-safe bag, along with a set of easy-to-follow instructions for plugging the module into your machine.
