You are offerding on a very nice original WW2, US made, PARACHUTE INFANTRY, ARTILLERY OR ENGINEERS GARRISON CAP PATCH - Partiallymachine-embroidered on KHAKI cotton twill base fabric.
BECAUSE OF THE KHAKI COLOR, it could be one of these three branches of the Airborne, and WILL BE A HARD TO FIND CAP PATCH.
Such Cap patch, with only the parachute, was issued prior to 1943. From 1943, it was the embroidered one with the parachute and glider combined.The patch is in unused / mint condition - 100% genuine/no copy !The illustration speaks for itself - Under UV-light the patch doesn\'t glow.
I\'m currently selling my collection, complete series of patches from WW1 to WW2-period (US and theater made). So there will be more coming up in the following weeks...
