HP J2611B AdvanceStack 10Base-T Hub-16U

The AdvanceStack 8U/16U SNMP Module is a management module for Hewlett Packard\'s AdvanceStack Hub-8U and Hub-16U.  The module slides into the expansion bay located in the back of the unit providing full SNMP management capability.  These features include hub-level and port-level security, intruder prevention, auto port disabling, network management alarm, eavesdrop prevention, authorized managers list, assigned port access, and password protection.    The unit includes 512KB on a Flash EEPROM and 1MB of DRAM memory.  This module also provides remote management capabilities via Telnet and/or dial-in with an external modem.  HP management software support includes HP OpenView and HP AdvanceStack Assistant, in addition to ASCII console support, and HP EASE (Embedded Advanced Sampling Environment) agent for intelligent network traffic monitoring.
