IBM Model M - 1391401 - 01MAR89 - Vintage Mechanical KeyboardThis keyboard is in decent condition externally, but I have not taken it apart to inspect it further. There are some scratches and scuffs on the case. After testing, I've found that some keys are not fully working. Some keys, like the down arrow and some numpad keys, don't register every time you press them. The spacebar in particular seems to not work at all. The connector is a little hard to unplug sometimes, but it works. A few keys, like the backspace and shift keys, are harder to press on the edges. The bottom right of the keyboard doesn't look like it is completely clicked together, as shown in a picture.Please don't buy this keyboard expecting a perfectly working unit. This keyboard requires significant maintenance to get fully working. Also note that this is a PS/2 keyboard, and PS/2 doesn't support hot swapping. You need to plug in the keyboard before you turn on your computer for it to be picked up.
