Early 1984 Macintosh original 128K RAM motherboard from Model M0001 first Mac, date stamped 1983. Later revision 128K boards were date stamped 1983-84. Board is nice and clean, undamaged. When last installed this board displayed a common RAM error when turned on, so likely needs RAM chip/s replaced to work, no guarantees as replacing RAM requires soldering in new chips to the board, which is at buyer\'s own risk. The original socketed ROM chip set was removed as shown, so it will also need working Mac ROM chips installed if buyer intends to use the board. Also would be great to mount in a frame and put on display given the historic significance of the original first Macintosh!
This is for parts, restoration, or display only, it is NOT a currently working board, has RAM error, and NO ROM chips. Never upgraded or modified, no repairs. The 4-digit date codes on the chips are from either mid to late 1983 or very early 1984! The CPU is 8351 indicating week 51 of 1983 production, and the RAM chips are 8404 and 8405 indicating week 4 or 5 of 1984. So this board is originally from a very early 1984 production original Macintosh, making it less common.Stored well and no corrosionor any damage, clean and excellent condition. Ports are all good, no corrosion or damage. Smoke-free clean dry environment. Photos of exact item buyer will receive.
