8MByte fastram to dip-64 cpu socket of Amiga 500 *\"PREORDER\"* 2 weeks lead time:
$34.99

One 4M x 16 5volt DRAM chip on board and 1 cpld, one led (can light up when autoconfig done). JTAG header may not be soldered on.Usesmodified verilog code of LDV\'s A600_MEM memory expansion.Initial version seems to work, copied programs to RAM: drive and ran it.Autoconfig in and out signals added, board Autoconfig(tm) on / off(board not seen by Amiga) could be jumpered or wired to autoconfig chain.Status of boards is mainly half assembled, ready to ship inside few weeks time.May need a few hundred mA for power. (not measured)
Will fit in A500.The top metal rf shield can be left out if it doesnt fit otherwise.May not fit with some ide68k boards (v402) but this is not tried out.The a500 mainboard i use to \"test\" is actually rev6a.Actual power consumption is not measured, but it will take some current. This could be compensated by using low power 68hc000 by the way.No wires are necessary, unless other autoconfig devices are used. Then you could cut the grounding to the config out contact at the 86-contact edge connector an lead a wire to that contact.
