The Nu Way/Schrofftech Telecom Series of Cabinets provides a means to house nextgeneration 4G BTS equipment, AC to DC Power Plants, Data Com- Switching and Routingin a safe and secure environmentally friendly location. A dedicated side bay providesinterlocked main breakers for incoming power transfer between utility and generatorsources, a distribution panel and Surge Protection, along with a Telco/ReciprocalBackhaul chamber access that is designed to house customer installed communicationsequipment. The enclosure is constructed of heavy gauge 5052-H32 aluminum with apowder coast paint finish.The Power protection cabinet (Mud Room) is configured withSingle Phase 120/240Vac, 100 amp load-center provisioned with wiring torectifier shelf located over batteries with 120Vac receptacles in main chamberand power protection cabinet.

  • Equipment compartment provides up to 30 Rack Units (30RU) for equipmentdepending on cabinet model.
  • Side equipment channels allow mounting rails to be adjustable front-to-back.
  • Lift off doors (front) (Back) equipped with a (lockable) wind stop latch on frontdoor only and an intrusion alarm on front and rear doors.
  • Internal six-position cabinet ground bus bar tied to individual ground points on mounting rails to provide direct earth ground path.
  • Internal AC powered front and back LED light fixture.
  • GFCI protected convenience outlets located in PPC chamber.
  • Battery compartment that occupies seven vertical rack units (7RU).
  • The battery compartment has an (optional) Battery containment bladder.
  • The battery compartment houses one string of four 180 Ah front post batteries.The battery compartment is capable of housing multiple battery types and is configured for maximum size of 180 Ah batteries supplied with 100 Ah offset
  • Battery compartment AC power heater providing 800W of heating, depending on compartment conditions, to ensure batteries are held within target operating environment.

  • Four lifting Eye bolts at the top that allow cabinet to be lifted into position.
  • Removable Solar Shield (to allow front door lift off access).

Power protection cabinet is designed to condition utilities, demark and signallines before entering main enclosure.

  • Square-D- 12 position Load Center with Mechanical Interlock Receptacle (CS6375LCM1).
  • GFCI (3) protected convenience outlets (located under load center).

  • Surge Suppressor (Data, Signal and RF)
