    • Format refreshed at lowest post-factory level accessible using official Seagate utilities.
    • Very quiet, operates smoothly.
    • Full surface scan — zero bad sectors.
    • Single large partition created.
    • Another full surface scan using scandisk.
    • Chkdsk shows zero bad sectors.
    • Fresh install of MS-DOS 6.22 plus its updated bonus utilities.
    • BIOS drive parameters must be set correctly (CHS: 1024/12/17) to boot as configured.
    • Should boot right up in any compatible system.
    • Or, reformat, repartition and install whatever O/S you prefer.
