Here is a PCI video decoder card sold by Creative Technology in 1999. They put their name on a Hollywood Plus decoder card made by Sigma Designs and advertised it as providing "Dxr3 Technology" (Dynamic eXtended Resolution)Its purpose was to allow DVD playback on systems with processor speeds from 133 to 600 MHz. It can also be used to convert VGA to composite/S-Video.The card includes half a megabyte of RAM, a VGA output, two different mini-DIN connectors for VGA in and VGA out, plus an audio line out jack and an RCA jack labeled SPDIF out. It originally came with a VGA passthrough cable to connect to the systems main graphics card.
