3.3 MHz I2C, 50 MHz SPI I2C/SPI interface device - NI USB-8452 is a main interface used to connect and communicate with integrated circuit (I2C) and serial peripheral interface (SPI) devices. USB-8452 has a plug and play USB connection, powered by a bus, and is a portable solution for communicating with consumer electronics or integrated circuits. The NI USB-8452 also includes 8 universal digital I/O cables, suitable for various applications, such as address configuration of I2C devices, LED switching or common gating conversion and data ready lines in analog converter chips. Compared to PCI interfaces, USB-8452 can be installed closer to I2C/SPI devices, thereby shortening the bus length of I2C and minimizing noise issues. In addition, this interface does not require an external power source and can provide+5V and GND voltage to the power circuit.
