Check for the version of the bluez-hcidump package Detailed Explanation for this Vulnerability Assessment The remote host is missing the patch for the advisory MDKSA-2006:041 (bluez-hcidump). Buffer overflow in l2cap.c in hcidump permits remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) through a wireless Bluetooth connection via a malformed Logical Link Control and Adaptation Protocol (L2CAP) packet. The updated packages have been patched to correct this issue.
