Vulnerability Assessment Details

MDKSA-2005:181: squid

Vulnerability Assessment Summary
Check for the version of the squid package

Detailed Explanation for this Vulnerability Assessment

The remote host is missing the patch for the advisory MDKSA-2005:181 (squid).

Squid 2.5.9, while performing NTLM authentication, does not properly handle

(daemon restart).

The updated packages have been patched to address these issues.
