Detailed Explanation for this Vulnerability Assessment

The remote host is missing the patch for the advisory MDKSA-2003:101 (fetchmail).


A bug was discovered in fetchmail 6.2.4 where a specially crafted email message
can cause fetchmail to crash.
Thanks to Nalin Dahyabhai of Red Hat for providing the patch to fix the problem.
