RARE ROLAND SCC-1 GS SOUND CANVAS ISA MIDI SOUND CARD

Offered here is an original Roland SCC-1 GS Sound Card, Roland’s highly collectible internal ISA implementation of the early Sound Canvas system.

The SCC-1 combines a Roland GS/General MIDI sound generator with an onboard MPU-401 MIDI interface and was designed for IBM-compatible PCs. It is especially sought after today by collectors and enthusiasts building authentic vintage DOS and early Windows gaming/music systems.

This card was working properly when it was removed from the original computer. It has been stored since then. I no longer have a compatible ISA-equipped system available to perform a current test, so it is being described accurately as working when removed, not recently retested.
