Nation\'s Attic George Swindell Model 2000 Diving Helmet!
Up for sale with is a is a fantastic diving helmet that is rarely seen in this condition! Called the Model 2000 Swindell this helmet was originally made by George Swindell but manufactured by Advanced Diving Equipment & Manufacturing Co. The helmet dates to the 1970\'s.
Last month we found this helmet along with another Swindell Model 2000 helmet. Both helmets are up on this week. Both helmets received very little use originally which is why they are in such great condition today. This helmet does show some imperfections in the chrome, mostly from just not be polished in a long time. The fiberglass body of the helmet is in great condition with only the most minor or cracks in the paint. This helmet does have the hard to find optional breastplate as shown in the photos. The helmet also comes with the neck dam as well!
The brilliant orange paint on the bonnet still has a great luster to it. That combined with the painted black breastplate and chromed acorn nuts really gives this example a great appearance! Complete examples in great condition like this one don\'t come up very often!

The helmets neck dam is present and appears to work correctly. We are selling this helmet as a collectible and not something to be used, unless it is serviced by a certified professional. These Model 2000 Swindell helmets don\'t come up that often in this condition and with the optional breastplate they are getting quite hard to find!
