ELMIRA, N.Y. onfront,\"YOU CAN WHIP OUR CREAM (picture of mother & son in the kitchen baking?) BUT YOU CAN\'T BEAT OUR MILK!\" on back... it comes with the original2-tone, cream colored interior paint (done by the milk bottle manufacturer)which shows the razor-sharp creamline when held to the light - this is how youcan tell a real, vintage display bottle from a fake!... these bottles were usedprimarily by the various glass company salesmen between 1934 and 1939 topromote their sale to dairy owners and nothing drove that point home betterthan to show the dairy owner what his own dairy name & bottles would looklikewith the new colorful labeling!...In 1933-34, the glasscompanies had different names for the color labeling process,the LambGlass Co. of Mt. Vernon Ohiocalled it Lustro-Color -Owens-IllinoisGlass Co.of Streator ILL. called it A.C.L.
