You are offerding on a wonderful RARE VINTAGE SENECA NO. 8 FOLDING CAMERA. This camera looks GREAT! It has been lovingly cared for for years. The camera is inAMAZINGLY nice cosmetic condition. I\'m not a camera guy so I have not tried anything out but as clean as it is I\'m confident it will work just fine. I found the following info on this camera--\"The Seneca No. 8 Camera was manufactured by the Seneca Camera Mfg. Co. from approximately 1906 to 1918. The No. 8 was a full featured self closing camera. The camera fitted with a Seneca triple convertible lens and a Seneca Autic Automatic (Dustproof) shutter, with bulb and tube attachment. Constructed of wood with dovetail corners and ebony finish, bed made of mahogany with ebony finish, covered in walrus grain leather, and nickel hardware. Bellows were made of black Russian leather lined with gossamer cloth. Features include a rising and falling front, revolving back with spring actuated ground glass panel for focusing, rack and pinion for fine focusing with locking device, reversible brilliant view finder that is metal bounded and hooded, spirit level and two tripod sockets. Available in 4 x 5, 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 (postcard), 4 1/4 x 6 1/2, or 5 x 7 and 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch sizes\". I am selling the tripod separately--which is also in excellent condition. Also being sold separately are 7 WOODEN SENECA FILM PATES WITH LEATHER CARRYING CASE. A nice addition to your collection--in COLLECTOR\'S condition.
