Fine condition half plate field camera by The London Stereoscopic & Photographic Co. Limited.Camera in mahogany with fine dove-tail jointing, lacquered brass fittings and wine coloured leather bellows.Inscribed brass Rapid Rectilinear 7x5 lens with slot for Waterhouse stops.Original stops missing but three home-made ones included (not shown).
One correctly fitting double dark slide and another which can be adapted to fit.
All contained in a poor condition leather case. It is complete but most of the stitching has come undone. Can be repaired.
The camera is in fabulous condition with gorgeous original lacquer on wood and fittings.The only faults that I can find are a scratch at the top of the focussing screen and a fine crack on the base of the camera.Please examine the photos provided as they are much better at describing the condition than I am.
