A Dr. L.Q.C Wishart\'s Pine Tree Tar Cordial Bottle, Philadelphia, PA, ca.1860\'s. This is the larger 9-3/4\" size, blown in a two-part mold with sparkly Emerald Green glass. Crudely-applied, tapered finish; smooth base with 2\"Dia. circular concave indentation. Embossed on three panels: L.Q.C. WISHART\'S / PINE TREE TAR CORDIAL PHILA / PATENT [Pine Tree] 1859. This is the earlier variant; the last panel was changed to TRADE [Pine Tree] MARK around 1870.Condition: Professional restoration to one lower corner (see close-up), and a 1/8\" shallow flake on the lip (LQC side); otherwise excellent with strong color and embossing. Crude whittled surface, stretch lines at neck, and multiple air inclusions throughout. See photos for complete details and please consider them as part of the description.
