Description Abeautifulearly pair ofEnglish antique Georgian solid sterling silversewing scissorscomplete with their original silver blade case,datingfrom around 1820and in excellent condition.Superb quality genuine 190+ year old antique examples, ornately all-over chased and engravedand have niceSheffield steel blades which are still very sharp and cut beautifully. They silver blade case has matching engraved decorationand they fit over the blades perfectly. There are no added engraved monograms or initials.

Measurements They measure approx3.95 inches (99mm) in length end to end, x 1.45 inches (34mm) wide.

DateEnglish antique Georgian solid sterling silver, unmarked as is quite normal with these early silver sewing items but 100% guaranteed antique solid silver and dating from a round 1820-1830.ConditionExcellent condition, no splits or cracks, no solder repairs and no nasty knocks or dents.They are in perfect working order and the sharp steel blades are full length and cut very well. The silver blade case is definitely original and is in lovely cleancondition with the blades fitting insideperfectly.Fine quality examples and there are no added engraved monograms or initials.
