This charming \"Wells of London\" sedan car is in \"as found\" condition and has not been repaired or restored by us.

The Wells of London company was founded in 1919 by Alfred Wells. \"Wells\" operated from the ‘Progress Works’, in North London and their well known Wells ‘O’ London trademark first made is appearance in 1924.\"Wells\" went on to acquire Brimtoy Ltd. in 1932 and form the new company; Wells-Brimtoy.

The lithographed tin does have the usual scuffs, scratches and marks that you would associate with an item of this age, there is some surface rust to the wheel spacers at the front as well as one side of the clockwork mechanism, the radiator grill has also lost its\' chrome finish, but overall, the colours still strong and vivid, but there is some discolouration to the boot or trunk. I have tried to show the condition in the photographs.

I believe there was a driver, but he is missing.

The clockwork motor still works, but doesn\'t push the car along.

The car has \"Made in England\" to one door and the back and the \"Wells of London\" logo is on the trunk.

The car measures 21 cm (8 1/4 inches) long.

This charming car will display really well and would make an excellent addition to any collection.
