Rare German ww2 Luftwaffe bayonet reissue ww1 butcher. It has a original African korps bayonet frog. Bayonet went through the reissue process by bluing the blade and stamping new serial number similar to the ones found on k98 bayonets. I posted a few pages from \"German sidearms and bayonets\" from 1740-1945 by Klaus Lubbe. Which shows few other examples of the reissue butcher bayonets to the Luftwaffe or other branches of German ww2 military. I picked up this few years back from a vet with some other German ww2 items. Blade is in great shape. Scabbard has some wear and surface rust but nothing major. Frog is in great shape and it looks like it been on it for a long time.
