Up for salethis evening is an EstatefreshoriginalAntique Fixed Globe Brass RR Conductor\'s Lantern? Fire Lantern? Marine Lantern? I am guessing from the top and handle it is an early Railroad conductor\'s lantern? (Please check my other sales as well, I am listing about 30 lanterns, lamps, gas shades/ball shadesand early lightingincluding astral/solar/sinumbra lampsI will combine shipping) This lamp measures about17 1/2inches tall with the handle up and 12 1/2 inches tall with the handle down,5 3/4inches across the bottom. It is a heavy duty well built lamp, someone has polished it to a shine. There are some dents and dings, a few at the top, some on the bottom, I tried to picture the worst of them. There is one small where one of the sidesupports fits in at the bottom as pictured. I could not find any other splits or repairs. PLEASE LOOK AT THE LAST PICTURE, I took a picture throughthe bottom and you can see two areas of damage on the glass.
