RARE MARGOT de TAXCO KOI FISH STERLING SILVER VINTAGE MEXICAN RING #5207 A Circa mid-century, here is a very rare piece and early design from Margot de Taxco.
It’s a huge and fabulous ring, with detail and repoussage which is simply amazing. From the spouting water, to the scales, to the tail, Margot’s Koi Fish in Waves design # 5207 A is a tour de force. You will see copies or reproductions of this from time to time, but here you have the original.
Measures 1 1/2” from end to end.
Signed and hallmarked“Margot de Taxco Sterling Made in Mexico”, with the design # 5207 A.
Weighs 13 Grams.
In very good vintage condition. I would call it excellent, except for the fact that it was apparently sized by a previous owner.
