Conn Connstellation 38B trumpet.
Made in 1958 so has the full Coprion one piece electro-deposited bell and lead-pipe. for more details on this model.
Mechanically everything works well, the valves have compression, and slides move freely. It is missing the stop nuts on the first slide rod.
Cosmetically it has lacquer wear, scratches and dents as is typical of a vintage instrument. See the pictures - the most extensive wear is on the 2nd valve slide and main tuning slide. The dents are minor and I can\'t see any signs of damage or repair.
This trumpet has had one owner from new until last year when he retired from music. In original vintage condition. It has been maintained through the years by a music tech (a friend of mine), but is now in need of new pads and felts, not having been serviced for a while. I have cleaned and lubed it so it is in playing condition.
The case is original, showing wear and the odd tear to the fabric, but the hinges and latches all working.
It is a great playing vintage horn.
