GERMAN LUFTWAFFE OFFICER\'S DRESS DAGGER 2nd MODEL:
$419.00

German Luftwaffe Officer\'s Dress Dagger, second model. Please note that any offensive insignias have been covered with a penny. This pattern was introduced in 1937. The blade is stiletto type with two edges and a flat plain in center. No markings on blade. The blade measures approximately 9-3/4\" long and it looks as if someone took very fine emery paper to the blade to clean it up. The top pommel has an insignia on both sides along with oak leaves accents. The white celluloid grip consists of a spiral grooved design and braided aluminum wire is in the groove of the spiral. The top part of the grip is chipped so that the pommel cannot be completely tightened down. The spacer between the grip and the hand guard has oak leaves as well. The hand guard has a beautiful eagle holding the insignia. I am selling this for a friend who inherited it from her father and I am not familiar with knives so if I have not answered all your questions regarding this item, please let me know.
