Antique 16” Schoenhut Doll– Miss Dolly Face and Adorable!

Thissale is for an adorable Schoenhut doll with what I think is the Miss Dollyface.

Sheis approximately 16” tall and is an all wood doll with painted on brown eyesand four upper teeth.

Herpaint shows some wear but looks fairly good overall. I can’t tell if there’s been any repaint – ifso, it was well done and her springs also are clean with no paint residue. Most wear to the paint is at her joints. There is also a very small hole in the woodat the top of her head – it looks like a wig may have been attached there atsome time. I’ve taken multiple close-uppictures including ones of her unclothed and of her head so you can see her paintand detail well. There are two holes inthe soles of each foot. Her springs are all in overall good condition.

Thelabel is gone from her back – you can see some residue from where it was.

Herentire outfit is vintage including her wig.She is wearing a white and black patterned dress with long blackstockings and black shoes. Her wig isdark brown and curly but is mussed and could benefit from styling. The outfit and wig are not original but lookreally cute on her.

Sheis adorable and looks great on display!

Shehas been in the non-smoking home of a lifetime collector for a lot of years andthere are no foul odors.
