Antique Hudson Bay Trade Tomahawk Old Native American Tomohawk War Club Axe:
$374.99

For sale is an old Hudson Bay trade axe, circa 1870\'s this old piece was in production by Hudson Bay trading co. Was handy for trading with native Americans.

Approx dimensions- shaft is 21.5\" end to end- blade is 6.5\" across and 4.10 \" at it\'s widest. Shaft is 1.35\" in width.

Blade is forged from carbon steel and is still razor sharp, has two chips in blade. Patina is still intact and not been tampered with. There is and HB stamped in the blade near the eyelet. The shaft is wrapped in rawhide and is in excellent condition. Head is still fastened to shaft tightly which suggests some sort of expansion mounting method. The shaft is very light and probably very brittle and dried out. The head is very weighty in the hand and would require quite a lot of strength to wield. Overall one of the largest pieces I have seen.

I am selling an extensive collection that was left to me including several Black powder pieces of which I am not allowed to list on , please contact me for pricing and photos.

No returns on these pieces so offer only if you intend on purchasing. Prefer to deal with collectors only. If you have no response please contact me prior to offerding.

Thanks and good luck

Will ship internationally for listed international shipping fee
