SimplyBeautiful Pair of Vintage Altec Laguna\'s at their best! Why are these so sought after? Take a look and youbegin to see that they are of the most beautiful Mid Century Design of the period, not to mention the very best of the consumer line of thefamous Altec theater sound. These are a recent find from a collectors estate and were stored for many years and properlycared for in every way. Examine the original grill clothe closely and you will see it is in outstandingoiginalcondition.. no rips or tears that you almost always see.. and pure Altec with the signature gold thread from the late 50\'s. Along with the rich oiled deep Walnut cabinet designed by Glen of California, it just doesn\'t get any better. Now you see why these are so \"rare\"!The components are also as well preserved and consist of Two 803B\'s in each cabinet along with the 511 Horn and a 804A driver and N-500-D dividing network. All components are in mint condition, original Altec cones with matching numbers and in pristine condition right down to the Altec green paint that is flawless and \"as new\".

830A Lagun

The Laguna is famous for “youare there” realism at normal room listening levels. Yet it is so efficient it requires only smallamplifier power. Two 15” 803B controlledlinear excursion bass speakers reproduce the cleanest, most crisp low frequencysound obtainable today. These arecombined with the ALTEC 511 horn and 802 high frequency driver to deliver theclean sound so necessary for true high frequency reproduction. The elegant enclosure was designed by Glen ofCalifornia to enhance the décor of any room.
