A Pontiled Large Font Dr. Townsend\'s Somewhere Between Forest & Moss Green/As Is:
$91.00

For your viewing/offerding enjoyment, here\'s a wonderful Dr. Townsend\'s square that displays mint/near mint!!! Bottle is square in shape with wide beveled edges. It stands approximately 9 1/2 inches tall with a coloration somewhere between forest and moss green. It is embossed on three of four panels as follows, \"Dr. Townsend\'s//Sarsaparilla//Albany/N.Y. (in a large/bold font). Bottle is topped off by a perfect applied tapered collar. At the base, you\'ll find a deeply pushed up & rough circular sand chip pontil scar!!! Even though at first glance it appears to be an attic bottle, it has a couple of issues. The first is a small little potstone pop along the beveled edge just below the \"i\" in \"sarsaparilla\" (please see image). Also, somewhere along the way, there was apparently a shoulder impact that caused a hard-to-see 4 1/2 inch crack that runs down one of the other beveled edges (also see my image). Unless you lookhard &close, neither flaw is easily visible. Bottle displays on the shelf quite nicely (& at a fraction of the cost of a perfect example). Would make a wonderful addition to that early sarsaparilla or square collection, so I don\'t miss out!!! Bottle is guaranteed authentic/as described. A full refund is offered for any undescribed damage. Good luck!!!
