Item Description

Up for offer is a Grand Trunk Railway (GTR) Bellbottom Railroad Lantern with a clear cast globe. Lantern lid is marked \"GRAND TRUNK R-Y.\" Lantern frame appears to be in great condition. Wire cage is complete with no breaks. Two tiny dents on lantern top, some very minor pitting on bellbottom. Glass oil pot is free of chips or cracks. Brass burner complete and in great condition. No wick. This is not the original fount and burner as the lantern calls for a drop in, but this is a twist in. Fits perfectly and would function as original. Bottom of lantern has ice studs. Clear globe is cast \"GTR\" in a circle. Globe is in excellent condition with only one tiny chip on bottom rim.
