Vintage 1929 Bach Stradivarius Companion Trumpet K1 Allmen Collectible 1500 Rare:
$306.56

This is what I found on this trumpet directly quoted except the different serial number in (). So sounds like this could be a steal for someone too.Like I said in my othertrumpet actions I don't know a lot about them, butdid some research. Will try and answer any questions the best that I can.

"Up for sale is this vintage 1929 K Allmen Trumpet Rare Horn manufactured by Vincent Bach with same chassis as a Bach Stradivarius Trumpet. The horn is marked A - 1 by K Allmen & Company, New York. Experts my partner and I have consulted have confirmed that a number of Bach Horns from the early/late 1920s were manufactured for K Allmen, Bach's Step-Brother, a foreman at the plant."

"The 4--Digit serial number is 1386 (the serial number on mine is1398). Only 1500 were made between the 1920s and 1930s, licensed by Bach, making a unique and rare and hard to find, and likely only companion Stradivarius. Each valve has a matching serial number, a Bach / Stradivarius / K Allman attribute."

"Ask any player or collector if they have ever played a K Allmen K1 (licensed by Bach in the Vintage Stradivarius era of 1920/1930) and they will likely tell you that these horns are the greatest ever played. These horns typically command the same amount of money as any Bach/Strad of the era: upwards of $3000, because, as mentioned above, only 1500 were licensed and only 50 or so are known to be in existence, and this is one of them. Manufactured in the 1920s or 1930s, some of these horns remained unsold new until the 1940s. This is truly a great professional horn to play and/or collect."

I just want to be clear, that like it says in the condition description. This is in fair to good condition. It has some nicks, dings, and small dents. I've uploaded more pictures to show them the best I can. They are not real bad but are there. The center valve is a little sticky, I have not oiled it, that might be all it needs. It's also missing 1 of the pieces that goes from one side to the other. (see last picture) I just want to be as clear as I can that this trumpet is not in mint condition by any means. If you have any questions Please contact me. Thanks
