1950\'s METTOY
Push-and-go Lambretta

Mettoy Lambretta push-and-go, friction powered
green plastic Lambretta style scooter, made in England.Dark-green plastic rider on a light-green Lambretta scooter, with 2 colourful illustrated display boxes, 1 completely original (green) and the second a reproduction display box (blue). As shown in the attached photos, the entire model is original including the wheels.
The mechanism works nicely. This lovely friction powered toy would be fit for anyone\'s collection. It is showing a few signs of it\'s age, the left handlebar is missing and some signs of paint wear on the face, but everything else is original and still in wonderful condition, it truly is a lovely example. The original green box is incomplete showing signs of age and wear, but is still a rare find.The reproduction display box (blue) will be sent as is with one tab glued shut and the other open for access or storage of the bike inside. The second box will be sent flat (green). The bike measures approx. 6.5\"x5.5\" and the two boxes each measure at approx. 6\"x6.5\"x2.75\".Together with it\'s boxes, this item could make a lovely restoration project for any collector.
