Up for sale is a 1936 Silvertone antique tube radio model 4569 in a gorgeous Art Deco \"cube\" cabinet with wrap around wood grill bars, layered top and a large golden dial with magic eye.This is a 7 tube AM/SW/Police radio with four rotary controls for on/off/volume, tone, band selector and tuning.Radio was fully recapped, all tubes tested and replaced as needed.New dial lights, bright green eye tube and external antenna were installed.Chassis was cleaned and controls lubricated.AM reception is good. SW is more active late at night and may require an outdoor antenna. No activities on obsolete Police band.Cabinet was stripped, refinished and coated with multiple layers of clear lacquer.There are some wood blemishes, finish imperfections and few wood patches on top(see pictures).Small gap in dial escutcheon was filled and touched up.New vintage grill cloth was installed.All wood knobs are present and operate properly (2 knobs in the center are not original)Dimensions are : 16\"Lx9\"Wx13\"H Shipping cost to lower 48 states is $28.00Radio will be securely packed and shipped insured by FedEx Home DeliveryFree local pick up.Thank you and Good Luck!
