I\'m listing another eclectic selection of antiques and collectibles, and I suspect that there will be something of interest to just about everybody.Here\'s a beautiful 130-year-old stereo whole plate camera manufactured in London by Marion & Co. As you can see in the photographs, the camera has been carefully maintained, and it includes what appears to be its original ground glass focusing plate. It\'s been set up with a Thornton Pickard curtain shutter and an identical pair of Beck symmetrical lenses. The mahogany body is in excellent condition, with its original finish still intact, and the red leather bellows are still supple and appear to be light tight. There is no septum, but there are upper and lower septum notches in both the front and back (lower front notch is visible in photograph with back open). No damaged or distressed wood anywhere, and no evidence of woodworm either. All of the brass fittings are original and in excellent condition, and no fittings appear to be missing. Original Marion & Co. ivory tag on the camera body, and original Thornton Pickard ivory tag on the shutter. Both lenses are clearly marked \"Beck Symmetrical.\" The shutter curtain still opens and closes, as you can see in the pictures, but it\'s sluggish. Beck lenses are clear, and the iris-style aperture rings still rotate easily, although one of the iris leaves (on the left lens) is sticky. I realize that I\'m splitting hairs for a camera that\'s almost a century and a half old, but everything is worth noting. The camera folds up neatly, and it includes a matching plate holder still mounts snugly to the back. Measures approximately 12\" wide by 11\" high by 18\" deep (with bellows extended). Shipping weight will be about 20 lb.That\'s about it.
