Presented here is an11" long tin friction powered Lincoln Continental MK III convertible made by Bandai of Japan in the early 1960s. The car is very clean and in gorgeous restored condition.The creamy white finish is smooth as glass with no orange peel effect. The new paint has been expertly applied. I had to look very close to be sure it had been even been restored in the first place. Paint is 100% with no loss to be seen. Polished trim still shines like chrome with just a bit of typical age tarnish on windshield frame and rear bumper. Blue tinted plastic windshield is crystal clear with no cracks, breaks or shrinkage and still firmly attached. Hood ornament is not original but fits perfect and looks great. Reproduction ornaments are available on . Highly detailed interior has separate large plastic steering wheel. Satin black base has just minor wear. Friction motor runs like new; long, strong and smooth with great motor or siren sound. Rubber tires are all flawless with no cracks or flat spots. View window box has Cadillac sticker on one end so may not be original to this piece but car fits perfectly. Box shows major wear with older tape repair. Protective base insert and plastic window are both still intact. A desirable large size tinplate toy car made even better with a low, low starting offer and ..........as always.
