Up for sale is a beautiful cast ironFE Myershay trolley or unloader in very good condition. This one is a bit unusual in that it traveled back and forth in the peak of the barn on a steel rod instead of the normal steel track. It also could be set up in the field to run on a cable to stack hay outside the barn. No special track is needed to display this trolley, it can be suspended from any pipe or tubing approx. 1\" in diameter. This trolley is complete with the correct fork pulley. It has been disassembled, cleaned of all loose rust and dirt and then sealed to protect and preserve the look. The finished product is gorgeous. The cast iron has great patina giving this old trolley an amazing look. It is clean enough to display in your home or place of business. If space is a consideration this one would be perfect. It is 12 1/2\" long x 15\" tall ( with the fork pulley )x 6 1/2\" wide.Both sheaves and both trolley wheelsturn freely and work asthey should. The top and bottom rotate smoothly. The locking mechanism for the fork pulley works perfectly. Two of the spokes on one of the sheaves are cracked ( pic 9 ) and there is another small crack shown in the last pic. These are both minor imperfections and will go unnoticed. There are no other breaks, chips or cracks. Hay trolleysare a great representation of early life on the farm and are very collectable.Hay trolleys also make unique rustic light fixtures.
